Substitute Job Description: Working in a classroom that could include ages birth to 18 months, 18 months to 36 months, or 3 to 4 years old (depending on the site). Substitutes will ensure continuity of instruction when a regular teacher or teacher assistant is absent, ensure the safety of children, follow lesson plans and curriculum, manage the classroom, and maintain a positive learning environment.
