
The Accounting Department is responsible for paying expenses for all programs administered by WTO, Inc., reconciling vendor and bank statements, issuing W-2 and 1099’s, and preparing monthly and quarterly reports for each funding source. In 2024, WTO, Inc. processed over 15,000 checks to more than 1,500 vendors. The Accounting Department is a crucial point of contact for all employees, vendors, contract managers, monitors, the Board of Directors, and auditors. The accounting department strives to ensure the accuracy of each transaction while providing payments to those creditors. Each employee in the accounting department is assigned specific job duties; however, the staff is cross-trained to ensure a continuous process of all WTO, Inc. accounting operations.
