Under
the auspices of our Community Services Block Grant, WTO is able to assist
families with budget counseling, information, education referrals and
emergency assistance. The
Community Services Block Grant Program (CSBG) provides administrative
support to a network of local Community Action Agencies (such as West
Texas Opportunities) that provide services to very low-income persons
in all areas of the state. The funding helps provide such essential services
as childcare, health and human services for children, families and the
elderly, housing and other poverty-related programs. The
following is a list of the thirteen (13) counties where WTO provides CSBG
services, click on your county for contact information.
For
more information please feel free to contact our CSBG Coordinator Elda Barrera. Elda Barrera can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM
